Smart Solutions for Safe Business
For Deutsche Messe AG, the health and safety of all customers, partners, guests and employees has always been a top priority. The organization of trade fairs, conferences and congresses demands robust safety and infection control measures, especially now in view of Covid-19. That‘s why we have issued the following guidance for our events and for your safety and business success.
Disinfection stations and sanitizers will be prominently installed throughout the entire Exhibition Grounds.
Door handles, stair rails and other high contact surfaces will be regularly cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. Obviously, this also applies to sanitary facilities.
Our state-of-the-art ventilation systems ensure a constant exchange of fresh air in entrance areas, exhibition halls and conference rooms.
Health & Safety Guidance
Everyone who comes to the Hannover venue will be informed of the health and safety measures, key guidance and hygiene etiquette, i.e. no shaking of hands when greeting people, cough/sneeze into the crook of your elbow, frequent hand washing, avoid touching your face.
All persons are obliged to wear face masks if social distancing measures at the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be observed.
Separate Entrances & Exits
Entrances and exits will be kept separate throughout the entire venue as far as possible.
Minimum Physical Distancing Rule
Everyone at the trade fair must be able to observe the 1.5 meter minimum distancing rule. To this end, a maximum number of persons per day of the trade fair will be set for each event.
Exhibition stands must be designed in such a way that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be observed by all persons frequenting the stand area.
The aisles in the halls will be widened and space created in more heavily frequented areas, such as in front of entrances and exits, at service points, restaurants, cloakrooms and toilets.
More Spacious Layout
Social distancing guidance must be observed throughout the Exhibition Grounds (e.g. halls, conference and meeting rooms, catering facilities). Where necessary, space will be created to facilitate safe distancing.
Consulting Health Professionals
Deutsche Messe AG receives constant updates and advice from the relevant health authorities. Medical services are also available onsite 24/7.
Hotels in Hannover and the Hannover Region
Our close cooperation with hotels, restaurants and other hospitality/catering businesses means that we have a good overview of the health and safety measures implemented. You can feel confident that everything has been done to make your trade fair engagement a success.
Catering at the Exhibition Grounds
The concept for catering services at the Grounds will comply with all legal requirements.
Pre-registration of all persons visiting the Exhibition Grounds, irrespective of purpose, e.g. stand assembly/dismantling, is required. All persons need to provide information on the date(s) of their attendance to facilitate crowd management and control of the total number of people at the Grounds on any single day.
Visitor Registration at the Exhibition Stands
Exhibitors are obliged to collect data on all visitors who stay at the stand for at least 15 minutes for consultations, negotiations or sales talks. It is essential that the visitor‘s contact details and the date of the encounter are recorded.
The Coronavirus warning app helps us to determine whether we have had any contact with an infected person, which could result in a risk of catching the virus. Download and use of the app are entirely voluntary.
The app is a service by the Federal Government. It is available as a free download in the App Store and from Google Play.
For a more information of Covid-19 we refer to the websites of the World Health Organization (WHO).
