Hannover. In view of the ongoing Corona pandemic, the Real Estate Arena as a new trade show for the real estate industry will be postponed by one year. "With this decision, we are creating the necessary planning security for our customers. The Corona pandemic and the associated conditions unfortunately make a Real Estate Arena as a combination of trade fair and congress impossible. That is why we are postponing the event by one year," said project manager Hartwig von Saß of Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover on Wednesday. Deutsche Messe has set May 18 and 19, 2022, as the new date for the Real Estate Arena.

The Real Estate Arena combines the strengths of the trade fair and the congress in an innovative way. In the content program, it takes up the relevant topics of the real estate industry from the perspective of the B and C locations. The conference program will discuss, among other things, the future of city centers or residential construction as well as sustainability in the real estate industry.

Deutsche Messe and its cooperation partner Real Estate Events GmbH have been establishing the new trade show in the real estate industry for a good year. The concept had been developed with more than 35 companies and associations as part of a co-creation process. Numerous companies had already registered for participation, and partnerships had been established with several associations and organizations. "We are now building on this basis. The concept of a new platform for the real estate industry that addresses the issues controversially and boldly from the perspective of B and C locations has convinced the market. We are already looking forward to the premiere next year," said Thomas Westfehling of Real Estate Events GmbH.
